A sandwich is just a sandwich, right? Not when it has star power behind it. After one celeb's garlic aioli sandwich started a viral TikTok trend, we knew we had to tweak her delicious looking creation for Primal tastes. While some similar sammies use a laundry list of spices and ingredients, our version is a modern classic made with just the good stuff: lettuce, sliced meats, tangy pepperoncini, and of course, our delectable Primal Kitchen Garlic Aioli Mayo.

Follow our recipe exactly or customize it to your own celebrity-inspired tastes. For example, we lightly brushed balsamic on top for added flavor and shine. You can also replace the bread with low-carb or gluten-free bread, or eliminate it entirely and use a lettuce wrap. No matter how you slice it, this Garlic Aioli sandwich is a superstar!

Ingredients

¾ cup finely chopped lettuce
¼ cup diced red onion
2 Tablespoons Primal Kitchen Balsamic Dressing & Marinade
Drizzle of Primal Kitchen Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Primal Kitchen Dijon Mustard
1 Tablespoon Primal Kitchen Garlic Aioli
2 slices cheese of choice
1 oz. sliced salami
2 oz. sliced deli turkey
2 tomato slices
Squeeze of lemon juice
¼ cup pepperoncini
1 baguette or sub roll, cut in half

Directions

Start by combining finely chopped lettuce and diced red onion in a small bowl. Toss with Primal Kitchen Balsamic Dressing & Marinade.
Next, cut the baguette in half lengthwise and drizzle Primal Kitchen Olive Oil on each side.
Spread Primal Kitchen Dijon Mustard and Primal Kitchen Garlic Aioli on the top half of the bread and cover with the lettuce mixture. Place cheese slices, salami, turkey, and tomato slices on the bottom half.
Finish with lemon juice and pepperoncini.
